Season Updates Steelhead fishing
May 6th, 2008
Spring has begun here in Alaska. Our first guests of the season came in Sunday. They have
been doing fairly well. Fishing has been good but I think it will get better as the rivers warm up
and we get some more rain There is still quite a bit of snow in the upper elevations and that is
making the rivers very cold. The water temperature on one of the rivers we fished today was 38
degrees. That's cold on the fingers when you are holding a Steelhead in the water. It's still
worth it though. Here are a few pictures of the fish the guys have landed so far. I will post
another update in a few days.
